backed with foam board and shrink wrapped for added protection during the shipping process.

If the painting needs to be stored for a period of time before framing,

All birdhouses are for decorative use only. The painting is done with acrylics. Several

coats of a semi-gloss finish are applied to protect the painting. Commissions would include,

for instance, a plaque on the front of the house with the family name (and marraige date if requested),

choice of colors and a choice of pet(s) or no pet on the back of the house.

Close-ups and/or whole body shots - depending upon the pose - will be needed.

It is important that I get the coat color(s) and facial features accurate.

Payment must be in the form of a check - either personal or cashier's - or money order.

I will also accept bank transfers through paypal.com.

It's a free, fast and secure way to send money.

If payment is made by bank transfer, money order or cashier 's check,

shipment will be within two (2)business days after receipt of payment.

Personal checks must clear my bank ( 7-10 business days) before shipment is made.

Please allow 30 days (usually much quicker) from receipt of payment for delivery of commissioned pieces.

All shipping costs including insurance (mandatory and based on value and means of transport)

and any applicable taxes ( MA residents must pay 5% sales tax) will be added to the cost of the item.

Shipping will be either via UPS or USPS - customer's choice. Faster delivery -

Federal Express, UPS next , second or third day delivery or USPS priority mail - is also available upon request.

On commissions I will email a digital picture of the completed work for final approval before

shipment is made. If you choose to cancel the order at that time, your entire purchase price

(including shipping and insurance charges) will be refunded to you.

If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase once you receive it,

you will have two (2) weeks from receipt of the item to contact me - either by phone or email.

The painting, birdhouse or plaque must be returned to me by insured USPS or insured UPS

and received by me in the same conditon as it was received by you.

A refund minus all shipping and insurance costs will be issued upon the return and inspection of the item.
